Residential Renewable Electrical Generation Rebate Program

AS OF August 29, 2018

The Commission has approved the Fiscal Year 2019 Renewable Energy Fund program budget. The Commission has also approved reopening the REF programs.


Effective January 2, 2018, this program offers rebates to qualifying NH residents who install photovoltaic (PV) or wind turbine electrical generation systems. Rebate levels are $.20 per watt of panel rated power up to $1,000, or 30% of the total facility cost, whichever is less.

A public process was held to determine changes to the Residential Renewable Electric Rebate Program. On November 20, 2017 the Commission issued Order 26,075 which details modifications to the Program. The revised Program will open on January 2, 2018. Updates will be posted on this page.
